..since joining, she has expanded
the family law department.
Máire studied law in University College Cork and attended the University of East Anglia
in Norwich, United Kingdom where she obtained a Masters in Family Law and Family
Policy. Máire qualified as a Solicitor in 2001, having spent her training period working
with her father and late uncle at their Firm in Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick. Máire joined

both District and Circuit Court, prenuptial agreements, legal aid and matters dealing with
children. Máire has also completed additional training as a collaborative family law
lawyer.
In addition to family law, Máire also deals with commercial conveyancing and has been
involved in a number of mixed residential and commercial developments, shopping
centres, the purchase and sale of licensed premises and as well the negotiation of
commercial long term leases for both landlords and tenants.
In 2007 Máire completed a Diploma in Property Tax and deals with advanced tax issues
that arise in the office.
